Snap-It app for iPhone and iPad

Snap-it is a classified advertising application which you can use to advertise items that you wish to sell or give away for free. Key features of Snap-it are:

1. Standard listings for 1 month are totally free.
2. Extended listings for longer than 1 month attract a small fee.
3. No registration or personal details are required to use the application unless you are a seller in which case you must provide a contact number or E-mail and location with each listing.
4. Snap-it uses the iOS Messages application for all communication between sellers and buyers. This communication remains private and cannot be intercepted or saved by Snap-it.

Confidentiality

1. You do not need to provide any personal information to use Snap-it.
2. Your email and location is required for publishing Listings only and not for buying.
3. All your profile information remains on your device and is not published to our server.
4. Buyers can use this service without providing any form of personal information or identification.
5. All communication between sellers and buyers is performed using the iOS Messages application. All this communication is private and is not visible to Snap-it.

Snap-it will generate a user id on first usage. This is an example id "6297127C-465B-4B1A-9B80-0CF66FEF6053". Unless you are a seller then nothing is stored in Snap-it to link this id to your identity, i.e buyers can use Snap-it without ever having to provide any personal information. On your device Snap-it is secured using your iOs Touch ID, again this is totally transparent to Snap-it.
